Ingredients
½ Maxigenes Skim Milk Powder premade
1 cup vegetable or chicken stock
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
½ cup grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tsp garlic powder
½ Tsp pepper
½ Tsp salt
Method
- Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sprinkle in cornstarch stirring constantly for 1 minute.
- While stirring slowly add stock and milk. Continue mixing until smooth and raise the heat and allow to simmer.
- Let the sauce simmer for 2 minutes, until it begins to thicken, begin whisking constantly.
- Remove sauce from heat and slowly whisk in the Greek yogurt.
- Once combined place sauce back on the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer for 2 minutes and continue whisking.
- Serve over pasta or use as a pizza sauce base.
