Baked Spice Custard

Ingredients

300ml Maxigenes Goat milk (premade)

300ml pure cream

1/2 cup (110g) caster sugar

4 eggs

A sprinkle of nutmeg and cloves

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Method

Preheat the oven to 160°C.

In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until just combined.

Heat the Maxigenes Goat milk, cream and vanilla extract in a saucepan over medium heat before it reaches boiling point. Then remove from the heat and pour over the egg mixture.

Beat until combined, then pour the mixture into a 1-litre round baking dish.

Sprinkle the surface of the custard with spices.

Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
