Cereal & Milk Bars

3 Tbsp Maxigenes Skim Milk Powder premade

½ cup unsalted butter

280g mini marshmallows

6-7 cups cereal of your choice

¾ cup powdered sugar

2 Tbsp water

Optional: dried fruit, choc chips or coconut


  1. Line baking pan with baking paper
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan and cook until brown. Add the marshmallows then stir until marshmellows are melted.
  3. Pour the cereal into the mixture and stir thoroughly until combined. Add optional mixes if wanted now. Pour the cereal mixture into pan and pat down.
  4. Mix together the powdered sugar, skim milk powder and water together until creamy. Pour over cereal pan.
  5. Leave the mixture to set and then cut into squares. Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
