Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

1/3 cup caster sugar

2/3 cup butter

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. vanilla essence

1 cup (150g) milk chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups self-raising flour

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C and line two baking trays with baking paper.

Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar in a medium bowl until light and fluffy.

Add the condensed milk and vanilla essence until well-combined.

Sift the flour and add into the butter mixture. Then stir in the chocolate chips and salt.

Scoop the dough with a tablespoon, place onto a baking tray and flatten with your hand.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool on a wire rack and once cooled, store in an airtight container
