Portuguese Milk Tarts

Ingredients
3 ¾ cups of Maxigenes Full Cream Milk Powder, premade
2 cups sugar + 2 Tbsp separated
1 cup plain flour
4 eggs, beaten
½ cup butter, melted
1 Tbsp cinnamon
Method
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. In a large bowl combine the 2 cups of sugar and plain flour.
- Whisk in eggs and then add melted butter, continue to whisk and then gradually add milk.
- Pour mixture into muffin tray, filling until ¾ full.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the tarts while hot with a knife around the edges.
- Mix the 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon together, sprinkle over the tarts.
- Best served warm, tarts can be made 1 day ahead.
