Traditional Banana Bread

2 ripe bananas, mashed

1 cup plain flour

½ butter

1 large egg

3/4 cup Maxigenes Goat milk (premade)

1 tsp. bicarb soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla essence


Preheat oven to 200°C, grease a loaf tin and set aside.

In an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugar.

Add the egg and vanilla then beat until fluffy.

Combine the flour, oats, bicarb soda and salt.

Add this dry mixture into the bowl of creamed ingredients. Then, add the bananas and milk.

Mix until blended and pour into prepared tin.

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes then serve.
